I fabricated this recipe tonight for my husband and 3 young children (half dozen twelvemonth old, iv twelvemonth erstwhile and xx month old). They absolutely LOVED information technology!!! It was very tasty and very uncomplicated! The sauce is delicious! I didn't have sirloin steak or beef stock so I used turkey meatballs and chicken stock instead and it was still fabulous!! This is a going to be a keeper in our house and next fourth dimension I will be sure to use the sirloin steak. Thanks so much for posting this husband and child friendly repast. So quick to make also. Oh and ane more affair, I also didn't accept regular onion. I used a red onion which added a sweetness to the sauce. YUMMMMMY!!!! Thanks again for adding a staple meal to our business firm! Thousand~E

This recipe is pretty skillful. It doesn't make much sauce though. I would suggest using at least 2 cups of beef stock so there is more sauce. I took the advice of another person and cooked my noodles in beef stock. Information technology was really good. I will be adding mushrooms next time to the beef mixture. I used stew meat instead of sirloin. I made homemade mashed potatoes with information technology as a side.

I made this terminal dark with some small-scale modifications. I seem unable to utilise a recipe without making at least i modify. I doubled the recipe (I had 2.37 lbs. of sirloin) and added an extra cup of beef stock and half a cup of red wine. I cooked the onion with diced garlic, effectually six cloves worth. I make a batch of garlic every 2 weeks, at to the lowest degree ii bulbs, diced in the food processor and stored in olive oil in a glass jar, and then I tin only guess at the amount. Instead of peas I used two 7 oz. cans of drained, sliced mushrooms. I used about ane/2 to 3/4 of a teaspoon of thyme instead of pinches. This came out amazingly tasty. I highly recommend adding cerise wine to the beef stock. My beau and I ate huge portions last dark and it made a dandy lunch for me today, also. I will brand this again.
03/20/2014
We loved it! & my married man is picky, I near didn't put the peas in but I am glad i did. i cooked the noodles in the remaining beef stock. I will brand this again.
11/24/2014
I have tried a few recipes in the past for beefiness tips and noodles, all with not so great results. This is by far the best one that I have made. My husband, who always rolls his optics when I "experiment" with dinner, actually loved this one and said that I could make it as oft every bit I wanted as well!!!
10/xv/2014
This was really adept, I had some leftover peas and a sirloin steak in the refrig and so I whipped this upwards for dinner. I didn't have any beefiness stock so I subbed a beefiness bouillon cube and cup of h2o only it was even so very practiced. I used fresh thyme from the garden and I made bootleg egg noodles from this site. I volition definitely make this meal over again. (After this simmered for an hr plus, in that location was very piffling liquid left, next fourth dimension I make this I will add some other cup. A lilliputian red wine, garlic and mushrooms would be nice additions too.)
10/11/2014
I merely had ground beef so I browned that and left it in big chunks. I followed the remainder of the recipe but did double the stock and I am glad as I actually would withal take liked a footling more gravy. Hubby liked information technology, fifty-fifty though he hates peas.

Very yummy! We're not fans of peas, so we skipped those, and I poured in about a one-half cup red vino & a fiddling more corn starch. I used a half lb. rib eye steak and 4 modest portobello mushrooms, cutting into cubes - fabulous!
12/16/2014
Delicious. Made every bit is. Just added nigh 1/2 tsp of thyme. pinch didn't seem plenty.
09/11/2016
I'yard sure information technology would have been perfect equally the recipe is written, but I added a couple of items just because I needed to utilize them before they went bad. With the onion, I sauteed minced garlic, yellowish & orange bell peppers and sliced mushrooms. And because everyone in my family (but me) is big on gravy, I doubled the sauce part of the recipe, as well as the peas and incorporated red wine into the beefiness goop. Served over a nest of mashed potatoes. YUM!!!! This is a keeper!! Thank you for sharing this succulent and easy-to-make recipe!!!
07/xvi/2015
This was swell! I doubled the recipe, seared the cubes of meat, and put everything in the crockpot for a piddling more than than an 60 minutes. We used macaroni instead of the apartment egg noodles and when the noodles were cooked, mixed the beef and gravy with the noodles. Very good!
04/12/2015
Simple to make and the taste was outstanding! I had leftover roast so i cubed that up instead steak and my husband ,son, and myself were all amazed at how skilful it tasted .This ones a keeper. No need for changes.
05/22/2016
I took some advice from previous comments and I doubled the sauce, side by side time I'thou going to triple it the noodles drinkable it up! This has keen flavor, I used canned peas since I didn't have frozen it was alright only frozen would have been a petty better. I would recommend this one, it'south pretty like shooting fish in a barrel and it tastes swell!!
03/17/2015
Great
07/09/2014
My husband has asked me to make beef and noodles for years, they were always an epic fail, never met my expectations. I was and so surprised at the finish production of this recipe, delicious. I have made this several times afterwards the first time following the recipe, made a few changes to conform our taste! Thank you for sharing this easy and flavorful recipe.

01/20/2019
Great season. I used a sirloin steak cut into meaty pieces. After browning the meat and onions I put information technology all in the crockpot for three-4 hours on depression. Tender and delicious.
01/21/2015
YUM!! My family absolutely loved this! Very simply to make comfort nutrient. The only thing I did differently was double the beef stock; other reviewers stated it wasn't enough sauce. I cooked for approx. one.v hours and the meat was very tender and there was a perfect corporeality of sauce. Thank you SO much for a fantastic recipe, will definitely brand again
08/17/2014
I added mushrooms when sautéing the onions. Served over quinoa to add some diet. Great flavor that wasn't overwhelming.
06/05/2016
This was splendid! I added two cups water and used 2 teaspoons Wyler'due south beef pulverization since I didn't have beef broth on mitt. If I had only used ane cup as directed, information technology wouldn't have had any gravy. Still....5 stars!!! Yum!!!!
12/24/2014
It is pretty proficient. My toddler really liked it. I thing was I might have cooked it a tad too long so information technology was a little dry out but I will practise this one again. :-)
04/16/2015
I've loved information technology! I've inverse some things :) i didn't have onion so I put onion powder and freshly minced garlic. I didn't accept corn starch merely used tortilla corn mix which is basically the same. I didn't add the peas only added gravy to the meat n had prime steak for my beef n noodles ontop of my creamy mash potatoes
02/21/2015
This was like shooting fish in a barrel to make and we all liked it. My husband had two helpings! I as well used two cups of the beefiness stock which made for a nice amount of sauce, and I added mushrooms with the onions too! This will become a regular in my meal planning.
01/07/2019
I made this recipe with but a couple of changes. I doubled the liquid, added a clove of finely grated garlic and a few dashes of Worcestershire sauce. Delicious.
06/07/2014
Simple, tastey and cheap. Well washed Grandma! This even worked with footing beef!
01/04/2015
Hearty and corking, specially for fall/winter. I personally like when bay foliage season is more subtle in recipes, so I liked it amend with one that two bay leaves. You could add together peas or green beans, but I though green beans went much amend with this considering of their subtle flavour. I doubled everything except for the meat and peas/light-green beans. I subbed beefiness broth because I didn't have stock, and it was fine. I subbed a dry out cherry wine for a third of the beef stock and loved it. I also used about a half a tablespooon more of corn starch because of the other reviewers suggesting it, and I'thousand glad I did.
07/25/2014
Nosotros used rice instead of noodles and yellow bell pepper instead of onion. I had to use green beans, no peas. This was the perfect recipe I was looking for. It'southward a keeper!
04/06/2017
This is first-class. I used veggie goop only because I didn't realize I was out of beef stock. Later on it simmered for an hour, the sauce had cooked down quite a bit, so I added ane/2 C more veggie goop when I added the cornstarch. I served it with no peas to my super picky eater and she inhaled it. The rest of the states devoured it with peas. Next fourth dimension I brand it, I volition increase all the ingredients by 1.5 since I am feeding teenagers, but I will double the goop. Oh, and I thought I was going to have to pick out the onions for my super picky eater too, and then I cut them in pretty decent size slices, only they were completely cooked into the sauce and she never knew the difference.
08/06/2014
Made it exactly as was written and it was sooooo yummy and the meat was very tender! Cooked it for about xc minutes. Oh, I did add some garlic when I sauteed the onions. It was delicious! 01/21/2016
My husband who seldom says much-loved it and that's the final reply. This was an excellent basic reference recipe and I made it with the same basic ingredients, except all I had were beefiness tips then I cooked them in the crockpot the day earlier to brand them fork tender. Besides, I felt it needed more than beefiness goop for gravy and then I had beef concentrate in my freezer that I made from scratch and added that with more water (you could use 1-2 tsp. of beefiness bouillon) and thickened it with flour(browned in the skillet to take away the raw flour gustation)and then added h2o to make the paste instead of corn starch. I feel like corn starch is as well gelatinous in leftovers if I was fortunate to have any. That said, information technology was a great comfort food repast served with crusty bread and existent butter.
05/29/2019
I love unproblematic recipes with keen flavor. This came together fast and I could do other things while the meat was 'tenderizing'. I did add some mushrooms and garlic, simply other than that I stuck to the recipe.
10/29/2016
OK, added a can of broth compression more than corn starch. I will try this meat office again, no noodles potatoes I think better with the broth sauce. For me thick slices of onion add more than to the dish peas I love only they didn't link the dish for me. The meat wanted to go stew, all I could retrieve was I needed to peel some carrots. The meat sauce is a keeper for fast and easy thank you

xi/08/2018

08/29/2020

Anyway, this recipe was great and I will definitely make it again. Soon!
08/20/2020
An easy, lighter way to make beefiness with noodles. I just seasoned the beefiness with salt and pepper before frying, and seasoned the onions equally well. This is going to be a go-to meal for certain! Too put it on top of some left over bulgur I had.
07/21/2017
Oh wow~! I made this yesterday for dinner, and the entire family loved information technology. Even my picky piddling brother who inappreciably likes anything liked it. This is definitely something I'll make again and again. I served this dish with mashed potatoes from the garden and steamed carrots. I call back the just alter I'll make to this recipe is doubling the sauce for side by side time. We only love drizzling sauce over everything lol!
06/xv/2016
Piece of cake and good dinner for the family unit. Nosotros all enjoyed information technology!
10/24/2016
My son literally licked his plate and my husband got seconds and said information technology was one of the best dishes I accept ever made. That is the best compliment he has E'er given me on nutrient. I doubled the gravy recipe, but used the original amount of common salt and soy sauce. Information technology was perfect.
05/22/2020
Cheers for posting this! It's Delicious & I will make it over again. I had to sub and per advice enhance with more spices. I didn't take peas or Thyme! I cubed a 2lb roast and then seasoned with s&p, garlic pulverisation & Emeril's Essence before browning. Diced onion and per suggestions I thin sliced celery, carrots & push button mushrooms to use in second step. I added ii cans Beefiness broth and 1/4 C wine. Stirred in Rosemary, s&p & covered.
